Study processing
The browser pilot is designed to decode and process the selected DICOM study on the user's computer, without deliberately uploading the study files to the KCMR Studio server. Third-party AI runtime/model assets may be downloaded by the browser. Independent security and network testing remain necessary before using identifiable health data.
Website and access information
The hosting service may process ordinary web-server access logs and authentication information necessary to control access to the private pilot. Final data-controller identity, processors, retention periods, security arrangements, rights information and appropriate contact details have not yet been specified in this draft.
Local files
Downloaded reports and analysis files may contain confidential information. Users must secure them in accordance with their organisation's policies. Browser caches and local saves may persist between sessions or be cleared by the browser.
Before wider availability
A complete privacy notice, security assessment, third-party dependency audit and information governance review must precede any wider release involving identifiable patient data.
